I've been doing pixel art for 25 yrs, and I kept underestimating the pixels. Every single time they were stronger than I thought. Fancier graphics didn't hurt them, the NFT cretins couldn't corrupt the scene, ai pixel art will never stop banding. I am always humbled by the pixel.

the reason ai can't do pixel art is because we understand pixel art with clusters in mind. eventually the ai will understand cluster theory, but it still won't be able to do pixel art on a high level because pixel art is about intense reflection on every gradual pixel alteration
