Last week we brought together 75 people for an intensive 24 hours focused on empowerment and inspiration. The 75 were #refugee women from 22 countries. It was an incredible gathering full of joy and recognition of the contributions refugees make to Europe 🙌🏽

Herman Ouseley was a pioneer in the truest sense. From a youth worker on the streets of South London to the House of Lords, his impact on the lives of ethnic minority communities in the UK is immeasurable. An exceptional man, I learned so much from his leadership. RIP Herman
