He explained to me when he shifted the focus of his degree to Latin/Ancient Greek/Sanskrit, these studies give him the root of all languages. cognates & etymology Fascinating. I hope that helps those who don’t understand why Latin remains important.

The Pine Tree Flag is a Revolutionary War flag. The pine tree represented defiance against the British, who had imposed restrictions on timber harvesting in New England. The left labeled it a 'Christian Nationalist flag' because they hate our culture and our heritage.
