Thank you @RepStephenLynch!! We must stop this.
The Trump administration’s new asylum policy that removes children from the custody of their parents is cruel and unnecessary. I signed on to H.Res.927, which describes this policy as child abuse and commits to a more humane asylum policy.

Thank you for this @MassGovernor. MA must protest this horrific act and trauma to children.
In a sudden reversal, Gov. Charlie Baker's administration on Monday canceled its plan to send Massachusetts National Guard members and equipment to the southwestern U.S. border:

Separating families at the border isn’t just bad policy — it’s horrible for children’s health https://t.co/vhDk0jLooG via @statnews

Congress missed the September 30 deadline to #ExtendCHIP. Now, states are preparing to send letters informing parents that their kids might lose their health coverage. Children should not suffer in order for Congress to act.

Congressional dithering has left an effective, popular program for low-income kids teetering on the brink, despite bipartisan support for its renewal.

Leading children’s health groups are urging Congress to work together and #ExtendCHIP. It shouldn’t take a child losing access to health insurance to get Congress to act. https://t.co/i7VvlVFWcg
