Is there a reason the PCA does not have a centralized database that collects disciplinary claims/judicial outcomes for elders? As in, guy applies to our Church, and I want to check to see what his history is like. Other than calling references, I’d love a database. 🤷♂️

Doing my weekly visitations is one of my favorite things about being a pastor. I cannot stress enough how encouraging it is to the person you visit, and how good for your own soul it is as well. To hear a dying Saint say, “I’m ready to be with Jesus,” is a beautiful thing.
