Really looking forward to this. I loved Twyla Tharp from the start of her career, and once wrote her a letter and got invited to watch her company rehearse, 1972, NYC. A wonderful experience. #twylatharp @hubermanlab
“Elite is elite. There’s a price to pay.” This was Twyla Tharp’s response to @hubermanlab when asked about her thoughts on the immense pressures faced by ballerinas. A clear reminder that if you want to be great, you have to make immense sacrifices.

So happy to be near the finish line on this sweet sweater pattern from Denmark’s Knitting for Olive. Keeping the tension even while carrying floats of yarn on the backside is a big challenge, as is unwinding the strands continually. #knittingforolive

This is the most Danish thing ever: joy in getting all muddy, but in a very orderly, communal, cooperative fashion, which includes lots of independence but also a state (ahem a teacher) that happily steps in which you need assistance. ❤️🇩🇰
An ordinary day at a Danish kindergarten. The children are cheering by calling out the name of their friend who is about to jump into a muddy puddle.

So happy and proud of Paul and Lili on their Grammy nomination today! #lullabiesforthebrokenhearted
Lili Haydn: With the world falling apart and the music business upside down, the only album I felt I had to make was inspired by the music I’ve played for people as they’ve passed from this world. So when my dearest friend and longtime collaborator Paul Cantelon, brilliant

🚨TWEEPS: trump's crew in Texas just flipped 5 congressional seats red with partisan mid-decade maps. Prop 50 lets Californians vote YES to offset the GOP gain and block his takeover. Can we hit 1,000 RTs and replies with #YesOnProp50 to trend it? Please and thank you!🙏 💪🏽

Let kids be kids, please. They don’t need to be in training.

Love this report from the front lines, our schools.
Yesterday, my 7th graders finished reading Fahrenheit 451. Some in my 6th period class were confused about the ending. All the talk about books and then this: "Come on now, we're going to go build a mirror factory first and put out nothing but mirrors for the next year and take
