Complainy Time™ - I really love @googledocs it's one of the most crucial tools I use daily, but by god is the interface convoluted & really terrible for such basic things like Favoriting Folders, seeing/accessing & moving files to Folders, etc. Hopefully they revamp it someday!

Drawn map of Bomb Man’s stage from Mega Man. The sphere towers in the background always made the level feel massive to me, so I wanted to play up the sense of scale in this setting. I then wondered, what if Bomb Man was threatening to topple one of these towers from the inside?

Absolutely fascinating video. The #virtualboy is having a bit of a moment right now so this is very relevant. Say what u like about the machine (failure, headaches, red) but the technology powering this beast is so bizarre & interesting! https://t.co/MKxIrNj6SI @TheSlowMoGuys

I remember seeing a couple screen grabs of this in an old EGM or Mega Play magazine, in the 1990s. Felt so futuristic. Funny to look at it now and think how dated it is in many ways. I still think it looks awesome!

I really loved seeing the Street Fighter II stage concept art at the Capcom Creations exhibit. The inventor of graph paper is secretly one of the most important people in gaming history.

This style of light doesn't really appear in animation anymore. You know it when you see it -- it's bright, hot and almost dangerous. Our new issue explores the tricks behind it, and how one artist has revived the look for the digital age: ─➤ https://t.co/W9ZJ7MDHU5

SFII character Chun-Li stage planning doc at Capcom exhibition: Lots of activity meant to be going on in the background in this stage. And the location seems to be "Da'an Road" (大安路 Dà'ān lù) as per the sign bottom-right... is that a real place in Beijing, Shanghai, H.K. etc?

Having seen a little but of AR on the Apple Vision Pro, I can imagine how cool this would actually be. Maybe not to fully play a game with, but certainly to fool your brain into experiencing something pretty magical for a little while.

This is one of the coolest Apple Vision Pro experiences yet. Retrocade lets you place a lifelike arcade cabinet in your space or step into a virtual arcade and play classic games. It’s a blast. Check it out when it launches on Feb 5.
