I am a creator who is Black. I won’t watch everything but I will do my market research and gain my own opinion. My upcoming art and future endeavors will be critiqued as well which is part of the game. However, I can’t see setting myself up for this type of backlash.

A project isn’t entitled to support just because it was made by black people. As an audience, we shouldn’t just accept everything that’s given to us. Some of these conversations are a learning experience. Sometimes it’s learning what your audience wants.
