I woke up the next day with no desire to drink.
It’s now been 2 years.
2 years sober.

Mr. Mayfield lives in an assisted living home. He’s 67 and a Vietnam Vet. He’s the first call to the radio station, every morning, at 6:05am—He just calls to say hello. He just texted this to my phone, and I absolutely love it.

It’s not easy. It can be a lot of work. But my son is an absolute blessing.
We have the same 3 hour routine every single morning. I walk on eggshells to make sure I set L up for a good day. Our drive to school is spent playing “who sees it first” & trying not to forget to point out every sign we pass. Then his eyes light up & nothing else matters
