I'd guess if you miss the 2-point conversion early, the other team is more likely to runx3 on the next possession, which increases the chances of getting the ball punted back. Down 7 might lead to throws, lowering the punt odds. But that's my instincts only. Haven't studied it.

Down 15, so need a 2-point conversion at some point. I'd rather know how to play offense on the following drive by having the outcome of the 2-pointer in mind.

Whenever the Eagles stop running on 1st down, their offense looks good. They're at 9th percentile series conversion rate tonight when the series started with a run play. Been like that for most of the year. Damning when Bears were without their top-3 LBs.
