In Greece, they may have the beautiful alleys, beaches, culture, and history. But in Philly, we have Hagan Arena one of the eight wonders of the world. It should be the place for a night out that works for the whole family with ticket pricing, food, and game-day experiences.

Hagan should be that place but it’s getting harder with ticket prices. It should be a place where the whole family has a reason to show up, not just for the game, but for the experience, the food, the reasonably affordable place to spend time making memories.

We don’t get this in the US nearly enough. Life feels faster. Nights are quieter. Multi-generational time where kids, parents, and grandparents are all in one place enjoying each other is rare BUT… Hagan is low key a spot it happens at.

In the Greeks islands, every night feels like a block party. Parents, kids, grandparents, all walking around care-free, eating together, laughing, staying out late. The streets are alive and it’s not just about food (damn it’s good). It’s about being together.

Can’t recommend this interview with Big 5 Pod and Coach Donahue enough. With a VERY new look on Hawk Hill this year, this is some really in-depth stuff.

A keystone classic MTE featuring Penn State, Villanova, Pitt, Saint Joe’s, Temple, La Salle, Penn, Lehigh, Bucknell, Drexel etc. would be must see basketball. This is a fun home-and-home, but why not make it even better?.
NEWS: Villanova and Pitt will start a home-and-home series this season at Villanova, according to multiple sources. Return game at Pitt in 2026-27.

Hockey shifts are the future.
According to the coaching staff Villanova is planning on running almost the whole roster in rotations this season. Coach Willard focused on pace and energy in his recruiting and it can be seen in practice this offseason.
