Okay, something for all you MCP goofballs to noodle on, since when has the ability to read and integrate with RESTful APIs been the "limiter" in ad tech? The limiter is integration verification, gatekeeping "business devlopment people" managing their "queues" on their annoying

When you’re playing with technologies that could trigger the singularity, everything we know about basically everything needs to be revisited at first principles. When your coefficient is infinity theories of government, economy, etc go out of whack. This isn’t to say we need

I find many people whom I really respect in ad tech regularly fall victim to availability bias / false consensus effect — that is — they generalize their experience and behavior well beyond its representative value. One of these is “I never go to websites.” I can tell you, as

My buddy Corey Wise just sent me an epic thought -- all this agentic shit is going to make some of the most _baller arbitrage opportunities in the history of ad tech_. Can you imagine? Your agent just has to vapor sell something at one price and then go buy it at another, and

Also an agent that dynamically allocates budgets between a programmatic buying platform, meta, and Google is a sick product that should totally exist. The distinction being that that agent is treating rtb as a channel, and we aren’t trying to replace auctions with agents

1. Everyone should read my new article, link in comments. 2. An agentic tool that just sets up campaigns in Facebook for you will mop the floor with an agentic tool trying to configure line items in 800 publisher adservers, pace them, etc. Thanks for coming to my ted talk,

"well, you see mr CMO, there's this open source community that we had to create to get around the fact that google makes the whole industry kind of work like shit, but then they started to beef with a big buyer because the big buyer wanted more transparency, and the open source

I used to think that agencies with poorly designed outcomes and kickbacks were the biggest thing holding ad tech back, I'm not so sure anymore. Gonna have to build around all of this mishegoss. Can you imagine explaining the last 3 months of ad tech to a D2C CMO? Who would

Why do we have so many standard fields in oRTB that are actually vendor sourced? This doesn't make sense. Geo comes from a vendor. UA matching comes from vendors. BuyerID should reference the specific cookie sync that occurred between what two systems. Any field that comes

I don’t think there’s ever been a bigger incongruence between how excited I am to fix the systems in ad tech and how fed up with them everyone I talk to seems to be 🤣🤣🤣
