Toon power strikes again! Pomni imagined the “exit door” so it actually appeared. She subconsciously willed it into existence the first time.
One of my favorite theories is that the cast have more power than they realize. Some sort of toon power. Like Pomni pulling of this crazy ricochet shot and talking underwater, Kinger creating a butterfly and Ragatha blocking a barrel of a gun and having it blow up in Jax’s face.

I figure I should mention that Caine isn't really evil, he's just kind of oblivious. He has a hard time understanding humans, but he tries his best. Even if his best ends up turning Pomni and the others into knife pincushions.

I don’t think not having everything about the characters explicitly stated/spelled out for the audience equates to wasted potential. Leave things up to interpretation for the audience. I think it’s ok to keep things ambiguous about the circus gang prior to Pomni’s arrival. We
