Saturday, we punched our ticket to the Class 5 final four for the first time since 1969!! We hosted Festus infront of 600+ fans as we beat them 4-0 in our 20th WIN on the season! This was certainly a day to remember as we head to Ozark, MO this Friday to take on Kearney!

Friday, May 17th, 2024…. A day to be remembered for a while as we clinched our first district title since ‘07. From Torbit’s 6.1 NO-HIT innings and his huge RBI’s to Mager’s HR to the flawless defense. This was a true team win. 17 years later, we can finally hold some hardware🥇

Tonight’s win marks WG’s 1st victory over a MCC opponent since May of 2007 when Steve Mazzola’s squad knocked off Chaminade and SLUH in the playoffs, then lost a 6-5 10 inn affair to CBC and Ole Miss commit, Matt Travis, on the mound. Oddly enough, I was there for that game.
