I haven’t run double digits since my last half marathon in May. My usual run is around 8 miles.I decided today would be the day to push up my milage again. It was the perfect day to do so. Cool, breezy and beautiful out there…perfection! So happy after this run !☺️

I am so happy-I got back up to 8 miles today ! I haven’t been able to run that distance since November due to injuries . It was hot , steamy and sluggish , but it is done ✅ !Yippee ! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend ! 😎

I may have face-planted in the street at the main intersection of town, with a huge audience 😂. But I picked my ( sore!) self up , and continued on to finish my longest run since March of 2018 ! So incredibly happy ! I got this

After a 2+ month break from running due to injury, I think it’s safe to say I am back! I’ve done two 3 milers, and two 6 milers in the past week and a half; taking it slow & easy. I’m so happy to be at it again, that even the humid weather didn’t bother me as much as usual ! 😄

I was heading out for my run today, and my good friend (and neighbor) Tracey, happened to be leaving for hers at the same time. We got in 8 unplanned, but very happy miles together around the town. So glad it worked out that way-the miles passed so quickly! Happy Saturday ☺️

After procrastinating all afternoon, I finally got myself on my treadmill tonight! It’s felt difficult for me to run on it lately, as it’s been over a year of running only outside. But the icy conditions here leave me no other choice. I ended up actually enjoying it a bit ! ☺️

I haven’t been able to pull off running consecutive days in years.I got in 9 ( warm !) miles yesterday, and 7 today. Feeling good about my running right now . It is one positive that has come during this time. Feeling grateful ! Hope everyone is doing well out there. Stay safe !

I went out for 8 miles today for the first time since May 1st, and it went great ! I swear my hip is now feeling better, the more often I run !😜Still being careful, but feeling confident to look into 1/2 marathons in the coming months!😃I hope everyone is having a nice weekend !

Somedays, you just have to force yourself out the door for your run, and today was that day for me! I was feeling so drained and just wanted to blow it off. I made myself go, and now I feel so much better .⚡️It’s never regretted ! Hope everyone has a great night! ☺️🎄

8 chilly but great miles today in my new Adrenaline 21’s . I have to say that these are the most comfortable , and best fitting shoes I’ve run in in a long time . So happy I’ve found them ! Awesome shoes ,

I was not motivated to run today, but knew I would regret not going out in these mild temps. It ended up being perfect. I felt strong, and the views were so pretty around town. I had 5 awesome miles! 😃

Joined my friends for their marathon training run today. The furthest I’ve run in the past year is 10 miles, last Saturday. We ran 15 today; no issues! The weather was gorgeous, & the company was great.
I haven’t run 15 miles since 2017…think it’s time to sign up for a race! 😄

Fall running is so nice! I was hoping for 9 miles, but the hip said “all done” at 7 !Apparently, it is still a little moody🤪! I’m just grateful that I can run again, regardless of the distance that I can go! I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! ☺️

It’s been 10 weeks since I injured my hip. I’ve been going to PT, and though it’s not quite at 100% yet, he told me to try a walk / run this weekend. And that is just what I did ! 5 glorious,mixed miles on this gorgeous day!So far,so good !

After spraining my ankle 2.5 weeks ago, it felt amazing to get this run done today! I wore my ankle sleeve, took it slow, and it was pain free. Beautiful fall weather too! SO happy ! 🍁😊🍂

I was not feeling a run today -at all ! -after a less than stellar nights’ sleep. But it’s so beautiful out, I forced myself out the door. No regrets ! I feel so much better now . A run always makes me feel better ☺️. I am missing Florida’s 2 ft. elevation though ...😄
