This past week the rescue has been viciously attacked on Twitter by a local "rescue", as have many others. I have been accused of animal abuse and killing hedgehogs by using plastic tags to their spines. Here is a statement from the RSPCA

🦔 🦔 🦔 Please share & #RememberHedgehogs this #bonfire season! STOP. Do you need to have a bonfire? Can you do something more wildlife-friendly? MOVE the unlit bonfire materials to new site. CHECK the pile by lifting each section. LOOK before you light from one side only.

Shame on them!
These are the people who blocked the swift brick amendment last night. 102 Labour Peers thanks to the rather extreme 3 line whip which just goes to show how much #Labour do NOT want to help nature let alone swifts. Normally a 3 line whip is used for fairly extreme amendments.

Rehoming gives an opportunity to take pics of hogs. Remember a hedgehog out in the day on winter will need help. Catch, place in a high sided box & CALL a rescue ASAP!. Hedgehogs are crepuscular so are out at dusk and dawn. #rescue #Rehabilitation #rehoming #hedgehogs #wildlife
