Being a woman growing up playing sports that ‘are made for men’ this documentary hits home on so many levels! The game is changing, and we can all play our part 👊 #womeninsport #womensrugby #womenssport

If you can see it you can be it! Representation is key…The more young girls see women compete the more young girls will believe they can chase their dreams 🙌 #ifyoucanseeityoucanbeit #TokyoOlympics #womenssport
The #Tokyo2020 #Olympics will have close to equal representation of women and men competing for the first time in its history! 👏 For comparison, only 22 women (2.2%) out of 997 athletes competed in the modern @Olympics for the first time in 1900.

This is the kind of role model our students should be hearing about 🙌 #whatbarriers #BeLikeNadia
This is Nadia Nadim, born in Afghanistan. Her father was murdered when she was 11yrs old and fled to Denmark on the back of a truck. Nadia has scored almost 200 goals for the Danish national team. She's completed her medical school & speaks 9 languages. NADIA IS A ROLE MODEL 🙌🏼

The stories in #RisingPhoenix challenge us all to think differently about disability. After the amazing response to the documentary, Netflix has created an educational guide that works alongside the film 👩👨 Please share and #TagATeacher so we can reach teachers everywhere!

“Sports are fun. They’re a way to express yourself. They’re a way to let off steam, build friendships, improve your mental health, challenge yourself and grow. They are a potential career. They are a way to realise dreams.” What do we elevate within PE?
