Day 8/90: Upskilling in Public Reached out to integration professionals today for guidance on this journey. Got two positive replies. Two strangers willing to share their experience with me. That means everything. Momentum is building.

Day 7/90: Upskilling in Public Sunday reset. Hit the gym this morning—needed to clear my head after yesterday's Bug. Came back and built a batch job integration: database to Salesforce CRM. Finally seeing how the pieces connect. Now spending the night with family. Recharging.

Day 6 upskilling in public 7pm. Saturday. Nigeria. Everyone’s outside having fun. I’m inside debugging. Building a near-real-time sync: database → Salesforce. One wrong data format broke everything. It took rigorous logs to finally see the problem.

Day 3/90 — Upskilling & signing my first client (Enterprise Integration Specialist) Today, I focused on how systems actually talk to each other. Learned different enterprise integration styles, then went deeper with packet tracing to see what’s really happening on the wire.

Day 4 of building in public Reality check: I underestimated the cost of becoming an enterprise integration specialist. Bank account: $0 $3,600 + $2,700 MuleSoft courses $400 exam fees SAP S/4HANA cloud costs Endless trial & error b4 mastery Regardless, I’m broke, not broken

Day 3/90 — Upskilling & signing my first client (Enterprise Integration Specialist) I actually don't know how day 90 will turn out - intense syllabus, practice, trials, and errors stand between me and the threshold big companies hire for integrations uncertain, but I'm all in..

Day 2/90: Upskilling & Landing My First Client (Enterprise Integration Specialist) Deep dive into DNS, SMTP, POP, IMAP, HTTP. When an API “mysteriously fails,” I want to know where and why. Using dig, curl, and protocol specs—not just abstractions.

Day 1/90: Upskilling & Landing My First Client (Enterprise Integration Specialist) Woke up and ended up in the hospital—malaria The day felt wasted, but I pushed through a chapter in my networking textbook and completed all the exercises. 89 days to land my first client. ⏳️

Just found something that actually works for me at the gym. I carry a small paper, write every exercise + sets before I train. Keeps me focused, faster, measurable. 65kg now → aiming 85kg by end of 2026. All in. 🏋🏽♂️📈

Found some interesting patterns. Turns out consumers' needed capabilities I hadn't built yet. The request errors basically told me what features were missing. So, I updated the processes to handle those use cases. Added the flows they were expecting but couldn't access before.

The Internet is basically planetary hopscotch 🌍 Your data jumps through big networks → medium networks → your ISP in just 3-5 hops. BGP decides the path based on who's friends with who (and who paid who). Every API I build rides on this organized chaos. Wild! 🤯🚀

Every developer has their own algorithm. Mine? Simple infinite loop with one condition: face challenges, overcome them, keep moving. Today: Designed & implemented an API for application network integration. From concept to deployment. What's your success algorithm? 👇

Modeled a large-scale BGP network today (iBGP + eBGP). As someone who builds APIs and integrations daily, seeing how routing decisions happen underneath completely shifted my perspective on failover strategies. Thread with demo:
