13/ All in all, Hackmos’23 was an incredible success, especially considering it was our first rodeo!
We can't wait to witness how these projects evolve and add value to the broader interchain community in the coming months 🚀
4/ "You can hack much better with a full stomach." 🍔
With this in mind, we spared no expense in treating our hackers to scrumptious Turkish and international cuisine during the two intense days of hacking. Food for thought and food for innovation!
5/ The chill-out area was an absolute hotspot for recharging. Teams took a well-deserved break after long hacking sessions and even turned the room into a FIFA tournament battleground with the rule:
"WINNER STAYS!" ⚽🎮
6/ Day 2 was Judging Day! Teams presented their work to fellow judges and the broader audience. The feedback on the quality of submitted projects was overwhelmingly positive ✅
The
@HackmosHQ
submissions are on aggregate the highest quality I've ever see in a Cosmos (or maybe any crypto) hackathon
Hope to see lots of these productionizing and launching in
#Cosmos
over the coming months
Great job
@CosmoverseHQ
crew for recruiting such cracked builders
1/ The first-ever Hackmos, organized by
@CosmoverseHQ
, took place in Istanbul from October 6-7, 2023 🇹🇷
Out of nearly 200 sign-ups, an impressive 185 hackers showed up, setting the stage for a remarkable hackathon!
It is important that you arrive early since we start with the program at 9am and workshops at 10am.
If you come late and miss out on that, you will lose time to hack.
And that's your challenge with the
@OKP4_Protocol
track for
@HackmosHQ
:
Enhance existing CosmWasm smart contracts tied to governance and consent rules to provide relevant new features that can only be possible using Prolog language!
Here are two interesting ideas you can work on:
1/ Use
@nymlab
's Vectis and link guardianship to Prolog rules
2/ Extend
@DA0_DA0
smart contracts with advanced governance rules, especially for voting powers
Prolog allows way more expressiveness than you could define with CosmWasm and others.
The "law-stone" smart contract aims to provide GaaS (i.e. Governance as a Service) in any Cosmos blockchains using the CosmWasm framework and the logic
@OKP4_Protocol
module.
Interested in joining
@OKP4_Protocol

@HackmosHQ
, but wonder what's the expected output?
You can adopt any implementation as long as your project provides a working proof of concept interacting with a "law-stone" instance deployed on the OKP4 testnet.
