Canola absolutely thriving in this @HartBrosSeeds trial south of Lockhart thanks to strong lucerne pasture history. Trial is to compare gross margins over three years between variety/risk strategy choice in a rotation e.g high input hybrid vs low input OP. @Farm_Link

Finished sowing the Tallimba site today. Our biggest site this year with multiple trials to continue work on animal manures, silicon and a vetch legacy trial from last year comparing hay/BM/grain. @Farm_Link

Spent the week soil testing and started to sow @theGRDC funded N management trials. Canola sown into wheat stubble from last year’s trial. We soil tested after harvest which showed very low N so retested to see mineralisation over summer. @Farm_Link @agronomeiste
