4/ I think it’s entirely out of character for Sir Topham Hatt to demand a diesel be scrapped (that’s my least favorite part of the Super E.D. script). It’s far more in character to simply send the dead diesel away. So the diesel (damaged) is sent back to the mainland in shame.
