The "writers" stopped voting for Garvey in 2007. Before making his omission political, just admit you don't know how the Hall of Fame process works.
Steve Garvey is not in the baseball hall of fame for one reason. He’s a conservative politician. He’s a ten time all star, and hit .338 in the postseason. These writers need to get over themselves. He should have been in years ago.
