My phone has updated to Pacific time, but my computer is still on GMT+8. It would be convenient if it updated automatically, but I’m keeping it that way so I can keep track of work deadlines. Perhaps, it knows better. That’s right, computer. Manage my time for me. Lol! #travel

Having a number and a cellular plan to use in the countries I’m visiting makes international travel feel more exciting! AT&T gave me one that’s cool and easy to remember. I might downgrade to the cheapest possible plan when I’m not in the US or Canada, but I’m keeping this number

It’s almost 3 weeks before my 3-month international trip, and I’m starting to get ready. So today, I bought a portable bidet, because there’s no way I’m cleaning myself with toilet paper. It’s one of those purchases I’m actually excited to get.

I’m so happy I found a vet that does house calls. No need for me or my cats to be stressed. I don’t have to take them to a clinic. She’s very accommodating. Most importantly, she’s willing to work with me on coming up with accessible ways of administering meds as a blind furmom.

I actually agree.
"The highest form of love is consideration. When someone thinks about how things would make you feel. Pays attention to detail. Holds you in regard when making decisions that could affect you. In any bond, how much they care about you can be found in how much they consider you.”

I wish there’s a way on the BBC Sounds app or website to hide shows you don’t want to see. There was a horror drama I listened to long time ago that’s still available. And when I see it, I’m reminded of how awful it is, and how I will absolutely not recommend it.

"What does it mean to hold space for another person? It means that we are willing to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they're on without judging them, making them feel inadequate, trying to fix them, or trying to impact the outcome..."

"My love language is safety. And feeling emotionally safe means collecting evidence that I can be my authentic, messy, sometimes dysregulated and struggling human self, and still be valued, cared for, and not abandoned.” ~Daniell Koepke

Am I the only person who didn’t know that ICYMI means in case you missed it? Well, I definitely missed that memo. Lol! And if you didn’t know yet before this post, now you do too, because sharing is caring, or something.

My anxiety is winning over Melatonin. All the self-talk things like one day at a time, everything will be fine, and you have a great support system aren’t working. Come soon please, sleep. I want to stop overthinking.

I’ve moved my things over to the other desk, and rewarded myself with Tim Tams afterwards. Because why not, right? That’s a bit of cleaning and organizing done, and I didn’t ask for help from anyone. So this is me feeling accomplished.

2. I want to have more of like a home office vibe to encourage myself to use the computer more, and also so people won’t see my bed in online meetings. Lol! I’m posting this here, making you all my accountability partners, even if you haven’t asked to be.

1. I have 2 desks in my room: one at the bottom of my bed built into the wall, and one near the door with a leather chair. @Simon818 uses the latter when he visits. My big project for today is to move my stuff over to that desk.

"Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.” ~Jamie Anderson

My holiday break starts today, and ends just before the end of January. Guess what I’ll be doing. Yes, playing with my cats, consuming a lot of BBC media, listening to Audible dramas, reading books, and probably looking for a second job and scholarship opportunities.

My kittens are big enough now to wear a collar, so I bought some with different-sounding bells. For me, it’s a good way to identify them, know where they are and what they’re doing, even when I’m somewhere else in the house. I just feel more secure keeping track of them this way.

I went to my carrier’s store, curious what an iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max look like. They offered me a good upgrade deal. So a few hours and a not so expensive pre-termination fee later, I went out with my first Pro Max phone. Looking forward to better battery life and performance.

Kittens are cute, until you have to litter train them and they’re just jumping out of the litter box. 😸 What are effective ways you can suggest to litter train kittens? I’d really appreciate it.
