Quite easily one of the proudest moments we have ever had. The Fighting Clan were 'standing with giants' at the British Normandy Memorial as we got to pay our respects to all those that had gone before us. On top of this we visited Omaha Beach, Arromanches and Pegasus Bridge.

Good luck to our friends in the @Shabab_Oman_II as they depart from Le Havre to participate in the Tall Ships Race!. An amazing experience to visit you whilst you were berthed in Plymouth. an absolutely beautiful vessel!. Fair winds and following seas from the Fighting Clan! 🌊

Happy Armed Forces Day!. Today is not only for Veterans or those personnel still serving, it is for the families, friends and loved ones who give so much to allow them to conduct their roles. It is not a normal 9 to 5 job and the people who support us are truly extraordinary! ♥️.

What an absolute privilege it was for the Fighting Clan today to be given the opportunity to meet Madame Arlette Gondrée at her beautiful café at Pegasus Bridge. A truly inspiring person and to hear first-hand stories of the first assault of D-Day was unbelievable @MonumentumFr

The Fighting Clan recently hosted a group of personnel from the 🇺🇸 @NavalAcademy for a tour, capability demonstration and of course some friendly games against our Young Officers. Events included a relay race, bucketball and a tug of war 🏁. Who do you think won? 🏆

After 2 weeks at sea conducting a whole host of trials and training, the Fighting Clan has stopped in Le Havre 🇫🇷. Time to resupply and stock up on some delicious scran. We also have battlefield tours planned for tomorrow to pay our respects to those who gave so much for us 🙏

This really was as awesome as it looks!! 🚁. For the first time in our regeneration the Fighting Clan has conducted Aviation Serials whilst underway. Many thanks to our colleagues in @FOST, @1700NAS and @RNASCuldrose for their help and support - a great day into night FLYEX!

Good to see the Young Officers (YOs) getting stuck in with some of the practical aspects of the roles on board the Fighting Clan. We currently have a number of people on board conducting Common Fleet Time (CFT) and Specialist Fleet Time (SFT) as they continue their development.

What better way to spend a weekend at sea but by hosting an inter-mess bucketball afternoon followed by a darts tournament!. Well done to Marv the NAAFI man on besting the CO in the final. watch out @LukeTheNuke180!. And congrats to the 45MM on winning the bucketball.

It’s 81 years since D-Day. Defence Secretary John Healey has laid a wreath at the British Normandy Memorial to remember the 22,442 people under British command who lost their lives during the Normandy Campaign. Their sacrifice restored the way of life we enjoy today. #DDay

An amazing evening for The Fighting Clan saw us hosting @DefensieStas @JoannaRoperFCDO and @StephenLillieUK alongside in beautiful Rotterdam. Fantastic to make new friends with so many people from different places and backgrounds, but with whom we share values and traditions.

Well done to all those who correctly guessed. we have arrived in the beautiful city of Rotterdam 🇳🇱. In less than 24 hours we left @HMNBPortsmouth, transited the Strait of Dover and got alongside at Parkkade, Rotterdam. a great effort from our Navigator, Lt Ed Farrer RN! 🧔
