Quite easily one of the proudest moments we have ever had. The Fighting Clan were 'standing with giants' at the British Normandy Memorial as we got to pay our respects to all those that had gone before us. On top of this we visited Omaha Beach, Arromanches and Pegasus Bridge.

And away we go......🌊 The Fighting Clan sails again to continue her regeneration. First trial up is SAT ME, testing all aspects of steering and propulsion 🚢⚓️ We must also ensure we are prepared to face the danger and perils of the sea with a Man Overboard Exercise (MOBEX).

HMS Pickle was the first ship to bring the news of Nelson's victory at Trafalgar to Great Britain, arriving at Falmouth on 4 November 1805. A very well done to the WO's and Senior Rates who continue the long standing tradition of Pickle Night by turning the mess into a Schooner.

Having celebrated Tralfalgar Day last week the Fighting Clan wanted to say a big thank you to @ARNORNOC for providing some of the refreshments. The Logistics Department onboard put on an amazing display of culinary delights too which was greatly appreciated.

Members of the Fighting Clan got a good work out this past week by helping to pull a Royal Navy Field Gun on it's journey from John O'Groats to Land's End to raise money for Military vs Cancer. Well done to all involved, an amazing achievement for a very worthy cause 👏

The Fighting Clan held a moment of reflection during our standeasy today. A time to pause and think of those who came before us. Our Young Officer's gave a interesting brief on the battle itself which further inspired the Ship's Company. #TrafalgarDay #AdmiralNelson
Today we commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar🌹 Under Admiral Lord Nelson, the Royal Navy delivered a great and glorious victory, a legacy that continues to guide those who serve today. #TrafalgarDay
