Warren Hacker was born #OTD in 1924. He won 19 games and had a 3.48 ERA for the #Bisons over two seasons (1959 and 1960). Pitched in 306 big-league games, mostly with the Cubs, but also with the Reds, Phillies, and White Sox.

Les Mallon was born #OTD in 1905. He hit .345 for the 1934 #Bisons. Played four seasons in the majors and hit .309 for the 1931 Phillies. #Buffalo

MLB's annual non-tender deadline is today at 5pm ET. Many players will be non-tendered across MLB, but all four arb eligible Blue Jays (Varsho, Lauer, Clement, Heineman) are expected back in 2026. Jays already created 40-man space by parting ways with Sandlin, Tate & Burr.

Paul Richards was born #OTD in 1908. He managed the #Bisons from 1947 to 1949. Longtime major-league player, manager, and general manager. Member of the Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame. #Buffalo

Eurie Proffitt was born #OTD in 1899. He won 55 career games for the Herd and went 16-7 for the 1927 International League Champion #Bisons.

Happy Birthday Jeremy Beasley. He had a 1.89 ERA in 19 games for the Herd in 2022, and a 2.89 ERA in 17 games for the 2021 #Bisons. Also pitched for the #BlueJays in #Buffalo. Currently pitching for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan.

Happy Birthday Forrest Wall. He hit .266 with 35 stolen bases for the 2021 #Bisons. Played last season in the Padres and Cubs organizations.
