When I invited one of my mates over after not seeing him for years I put on Jschlatt to break the ice because we were super awkward, but I forgot to turn it off when we started going at it, so I almost lost it hearing Schlatt yelling "Fuck you. Fuck you. I fucking hate you.".

That short-term satisfaction of "winning capitalism" by becoming the ultimate monopoly for a fraction of a second is all they care about, same goes for real life. And maybe we aren't supposed to understand it, because these "people" aren't people. They don't think like us.

The Fallout show's twist of Vault Tec destroying the world is an allegory for corporations and billionaires only caring about the short term. Even now, they are actively destroying the planet because they won't live to see the consequences, all for the sake of numbers going up.
@kittischmitti Except it makes zero sense. If capitalism is all about making money and greed, then why would you annihilate the means by which you acquire wealth? It’s more interesting on the surface but lacks depth.
