@tornadicwonder I almost died on that same outbreak. Unfortunately, we went to Georgia for a vacation. We stayed from April 25-30. We knew bad weather was coming, but my parents did not know what the SPC outlook meant. The Ringgold, EF4 was 30 yards from our house. That was when my PTSD started.

April 27 is in 2 weeks. In 2 Sundays, 14 years ago, the worst tornado outbreak (comparative of 1974) would unfold over the Southeastern United States. This outbreak would unequivocally be historic, causing over $10.2B in damages. To the over 300 that were mercilessly killed, RIP.
