Swans and Alan Sheehan needed that win. Probably gives him a bit of breathing space even if the general performance was once again nothing to get excited about. Two brilliant srikes by Vipotnik after a few games without a goal. Huge boost for him. Norwich in big trouble.

Don't think anybody saw Plaid winning so comfortably. Massive win for them in a Labour heartland. Reform UK threw a lot of resources at this seat with a lot of big name visits. That's a really damaging result for them. As for Labour, where do they go from here?
Caerphilly by-election result: Lib dem - 497 Llafur - 3,713 Cons - 690 Greens - 516 Reform - 12,113 Gwlad - 117 Plaid - 15,961 UKIP - 79 Not even close in the end. Huge win for Plaid, big blow for Reform UK, an astonishingly low total for Labour in a traditional stronghold.

High turnout for a by-election and Caerphilly's highest ever turnout for a Senedd election. Talk before the election was that a high turnout would favour Reform UK. We'll have to wait and see if that's proven correct.
Caerphilly Senedd by-election turnout: 50.43% (+6.12) Changes w/ 2021 Senedd Election. (Highest turnout in any by-election to the Welsh Senedd)

In Caerphilly, where we await the first ballot boxes in a crucial Senedd by election: - Senior Labour source says they’re expecting to come third - Plaid Cymru candidate Lindsay Whittle says it’s “too close to call” between him and Reform’s Llŷr Powell - Reform say same @itvnews

Always felt this Swans squad had a relatively high floor meaning (despite reservations about the manager) I always thought a relegation battle was quite unlikely. But at this rate we'll quickly get dragged down towards the bottom 3. I just can't see what the plan's meant to be.

Hopefully if there's one positive which comes from tonight, it's that we finally see Widell brought in from the cold. Mad that a team so lacking in attack has decided it doesn't need a player like that. Made a big difference when he came on and was unlucky not to score.

The players look as unhappy playing this turgid football as we are watching it. Mind-numbing first 45 where QPR scored then sat back, happy for us to have as much of the ball as possible, knowing we won't create a chance, let alone a goal. Red card was the cherry on top.

Steve Cook has got Yalcouyé hook, line and sinker there. Wound him up and got him to make head contact and Cook milked it for all it's worth. Pure stupidity and the last thing the Swans needed. His immaturity getting the better of him. Heck of a mountain to climb now.

The fact Golden Delicious is the second most popular apple has really got me questioning my faith in democracy.
🍎 It is apparently Apple Day. So what is the nation’s favourite type of Apple. The runaway winner is Pink Lady picked by 30% of Brits with Golden Delicious and Granny Smith tying for second.

Take the point and run for the hills. Second half better than the first but that's still daylight robbery and only unspeakably terrible Saints finishing prevented it from being the 3 or 4-0 our performance merited. We're getting worse, not better.

That 1st half was woeful. Swans so flat and passive and as a result created nothing and were extremely lucky not to concede. That level of performance shouldn't really be tolerated. Need enormous improvement 2nd half otherwise it's a matter of time until Saints score.

Probably among our better displays under Bellamy and who knows whether it could have been different without harsh first penalty but no question Belgium the better side despite themselves not being particularly special. All about getting a confusing team play-off ready now.

I've seen a lot of things in football but I've never seen a pitch invasion by a rat before. That's pretty gross.
