Attn @TrafficGGM Huge confusion among traffic police officers rgd rules. Clarify pls. Crossing the straight white line & climbing on Zebra pattern while signal is GREEN and turning right. However as the wheels climb the Zebra signal turns Green to Amber. Is this an offence? 1/2

Do clarify as some officers challan for crossing zebra on Green and light quickly turning Amber while others say braking and stopping on Zebra on Amber signal is an offence. Both can’t be right.

Why do we, in India, find it so difficult to be kind courteous to fellow road users, especially those on foot or bicycles? Being an old civilization, it is about time that those driving & being driven in cars, jeeps etc., extend some basic courtesy to #pedestrians. #cars #roads

Hi @TrafficGGM @OfficialGMDA The right turn lights at this traffic junctions don’t work. As a result despite their signal being green for turning right, vehicles are waiting as the opposite side drivers have chosen to jump signal. Have this mended please. Location in still pic.

While the Supreme Court of India has declared the Right to Walk as a FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT, #Gurugram is yet to wake up & look at the footpaths, conspicuous by their absence & hostility to walkers if & where they exist. It is high time that Gurugram becomes a beacon of #walkability

Such efforts to enhance cyclist and pedestrian safety are commendable. If all the other civic agencies incl. @OfficialGMDA @MunCorpGurugram work together with the traffic police, things can improve dramatically in the city.
