They constantly push their DEI narratives, demand DEI admissions/hiring standards, and demand DEI criminal justice reforms for their community. Why should they consider it a slur? It’s what they wanted. DEI is the special treatment for the least qualified and most misbehaved.

This was one of the most interesting conversations I’ve heard in a while. As taboo and hard it is for some people to accept, we have to come to terms with these realities. If not, we’ll continue to unfairly attack groups that are high-achieving and label them as “oppressors”.

For census purposes, “Hispanic” isn’t considered a racial category. It’s considered an “ethnicity”. That’s why it’s not part of the 100%. Most of the Hispanic people that do the census in states like Arizona (Mexican decent) will select “White” for their race and then select

Asylum seekers aren’t “illegal immigrants”. It’s also definitely possible that the they are legitamitely seeking asylum from political persecution, as opposed to being economic migrants, if they’re coming from Belarus and Russia.
