The most productive non-QBs from the 2020 NFL Draft. Justin Jefferson, Tristan Wirfs, and CeeDee Lamb are on Hall of Fame trajectories. Special players. The Bengals (Burrow not even included here), Bucs, and Cowboys nailed this class and kept their stars.

The most productive non-QBs from the 2023 NFL Draft so far. This is a Puka Nacua tweet. One of the best picks we’ve seen in recent memory by that Rams front office. Also, hard to ignore the incredible young cores the Lions, Packers, and Seahawks have built.

Zach Tom, Bernhard Raimann, and Braxton Jones being major hits is validation for using the production + athleticism combination for OL evaluation. All 3 belonged much higher in that class.

Shemar Stewart’s upside case probably looks like YaYa Diaby, Travon Walker, Preston Smith, or Josh Sweat. Those 4 played an average of 560 snaps in their first productive season. For a pick reliant on reps to hit his upside, a rookie contract holdout isn’t an ideal start.

You will find new Bengals EDGE Shemar Stewart in the top left of our historical athleticism vs. production look. Quick notes: Incredible athlete, completely reliant on upside. Success stories in this mold? Travon Walker, YaYa Diaby, and Josh Sweat. End of list.

Joe Burrow has already been sacked 225 times in his career. The Top 30 QBs in NFL history (mostly HOFers) were sacked ~450 times in their career, per Football Reference. At this pace, the Bengals SB window is strongest over the next 2-3 years and then lots of uncertainty.

Joe Burrow talking a lot about aging today, which is kinda funny to me but also kinda existential.

The grind has finally come to an end!. This thread breaks down how each team has drafted over the last 6 years and what it says about building through the draft. Main takeaway? Winning teams are more likely to draft BPA and avoid reaches. That’s the simple, proven strategy.

1. Philadelphia Eagles🏆. The Eagles ranked #1 in all 3 areas we looked at for these rankings:.◾️Value lost from reaches (non-QBs).◾️Net talent added.◾️Value added from fallers (non-QBs). They pulled this off while using the 20th most draft capital in the NFL during this 6 year

2. Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have done a tremendous job of gathering a high volume of picks and not reaching with premium picks. Strengths? They draft OL better than almost any team and have focused on elite athletes across the board. Negatives? The Anthony Richardson

We never discussed it much but Ratledge’s combination of elite pass blocking, middling run blocking, and short arms could make for a better long-term outlook at center.

Frank Ragnow entered the league as one of the cleanest interior offensive line prospects of the last decade and exits still playing like a Top 5 center. What a career. Tate Ratledge moving to center for the Lions? Now, that’s fascinating.

3. Cleveland Browns. Our Browns ranking is heavily reliant on their 2025 class and Michael Hall Jr. hitting our pre-draft evaluations. If we looked at only 2020-2023, they’d fall in a big way. Positives? The Browns are one of the best in the NFL at avoiding major reaches and
