Very happy with the latest entonox usage figures for ED which show a huge 93% reduction since 2024. Penthrox became available in our ED in Feb 2025. Brilliant win for the environment and also for reducing long term health effects. @GreenED_uk

This is just a single day’s worth of disposable tourniquets from our emergency department. It equates to a whopping 80k tourniquets per year! . Following a successful trial of Daisygrip tourniquets we are working with the trust to make the switch to reusable. @GreenED_uk

Reusable suture sets are going live in ED this morning! ♻️. Initial calculations show a projected carbon saving equivalent to driving to Barbados and back twice!. After the initial cost, the kits start paying for themselves in year 2.@TamyColeto @GreenED_uk @ElizabethFitzh4
