I am in no way boycotting or bashing it because I understand that the creators crafted what they wanted to see. They did so based on their preferences (which is cool), but not because there were no other options. I’m just not a member of their target audience…which is fine.

I recognize that visibility concerning cultural varieties is low in this particular subculture, but POC (Black) Canadian hockey players do exist. And considering that the series is not based on a true/isolated story, there’s more than enough room for diversification.
