Just another day in the office: a quick stroll up to see our creative arts team in action before getting to grips with buying a new financial management system. So easy to get distracted at @TheGrangeCentre...

Hi @ArgosHelpers I bought a duvet cover 27/03/20. I haven't been to Argos since (I run a care home and have been avoiding busy places) but it is the wrong size. It was a gift and the recipient stripped the plastic packaging off it before she realised. Can I still return it?

Another stay at @SalisburyNHS and I remain convinced that this is one of the most friendly and efficient hospitals in the South. The ward staff were particularly saintly, given some of the challenging patients...

I can only think of @mariellaf1 now as Steve's fantasy crush in #Coupling, my fave sitcom ever. Suspect your interview will not major on this detail, but on more intellectual stuff.
If you are not at Glastonbury or gardening ferociously on Sunday afternoon, then you may want to tune into BBC R4 Open Book at 4pm, and hear me talking to Mariella Frostrup about Murmur.

Really delighted for you, @dyer023. You have lived, breathed and championed the arts all your life. Glad you are carrying on the family tradition. Now definitely time to meet up for a celebratory drink.
Delighted to receive an MBE but humbled by those that proceed me, particularly my dad, Ray Dyer. He received an MBE for services to drama & young people in 2006. He believed that access to the arts is a right for everyone not a privilege for a few. I try to follow his example.

Good old @IKEA. I would love some of the people we support at @TheGrangeCentre to help other companies 'hack' their products. Simple design changes make the difference between enabling and disabling.

Thank you to the silver-tongued Assistant Manager of @CostaCoffee at Guildford Station. He upsold me today's special roast coffee in my flat white. It was totally worth the 25p, or whatever it was, especially with the beautiful heart sculpted in the milk.

Make sure you nominate a charity for £1k. Not going to complain if you go for https://t.co/t2845wqBiu as your charity of choice. But Hampshire friends should keep https://t.co/7pNCjc23NM in mind too.

Many of you will be wondering what’s happened to Handlebar Café. After 9 months with many legal, planning and environmental hoops to jump through we have now cleared all these hurdles. We should be ready to start on site in early February and completed by late Spring 2019!

A big welcome to Vicky who moved into her new home @TheGrangeCentre this week. She's been patiently waiting for the refurbishment of Walnut Lodge into 2 separate flats. It's been worth the wait -there's an especially adapted kitchen with counter tops & cupboards that rise & fall!

Lights on. Can officially start to panic now. Thank you @ExperienceGford and a big cheer for @GuildfordCounty Big Band for a heroic and toe-tapping acoustic battle with the loud PA system at the top of the High Street.

Modern family life: husband and son jazzing it up in Holland while three generations of Appleby ladies go harping (and eating yummy food) on the #isleofwight. @HarponW @VisitIOW doing us proud.
Wonderfully eclectic first night of @JazzRotterdam with @DonnyMcCaslin blowing up a storm, cosmic sounds from @josefleimberg and a joyful foyer set featuring guest @IrwinHall

Belated thanks to the @filmonafarm team for a magical night on 31 August. Spectacular hillside setting, wonderful sunset and clear skies full of bright stars - as well as the stars on screen. 1st encounter with The Greatest Showman too, would you believe? Great end to the week.
