What a pleasure it was seeing the people of Paris reconnect with and re-embrace the world’s greatest race. Montmartre was an excellent addition to lift the Tour’s finale out of its sterile laps-of-the-Champs-Élysées habit, and a fitting way to end a ballistic lap around France.

One to get on before today’s stage really kicks off. We’re still recovering from 50kmph winds absolutely battering our tents before giving in and heading to the relative comfort of The Cycling Podcar/Van at 4am.
