Pete was with me when we day tripped the Grey Catbird from Scilly's last October, I will always remember the fantastic day we had.
Pete Triston who died yesterday. Pete's passing will leave a void in Essex birding, such a genuinely nice bloke. Thanks to John Pringle for the picture.

Great effort Lee well done.
Well what can I say. A 12hr Boat, a drive from Aberdeen to Southampton. A little kip before driving to Lands End all in the space of a few days but was it worth it. Oh yes!!! Grey Catbird BOC for now.
