“Running with the ball” is a great way to create overloads (3v2’s etc) or turn a 1v2 ahead of the ball into a 2v2 by arriving with the ball. It often also leads to “committing” or “enticing” opponents > creating space for others. A vital attacking skill! Skills + tactics = ⚽️🔥🥅.

No idea what to say. Absolutely devastated to hear this awful news. Julie was such a wonderful person, an absolute trail-blazer in English football, leaving an incredible legacy. But more importantly Julie was always most proud of her family & thoughts are very much with them💔🙏🏼.
Everyone at the Belles is saddened to learn of the loss of Julie Chipchase, a pioneer of women’s football who passed away on Tuesday morning after a short illness. #BackTheBelles .
