Has anybody checked to see if the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office will ask a special prosecutor to handle a case involving the son of donors who gave over $26,000 in cash and in-kind contributions to the elected prosecutor's reelection campaign? https://t.co/qzDwv9vhFz

“It’s a story of distrust. You can go back to Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1967 townhall in Hough to hear resident stories of distrust around lead-based paint. Distrust is a long-festering wound in this city and the CMHA report just ripped it wide open.”
It’s been a long week of news on lead-safe housing. My take on the week and the work ahead 👇 We have no option other than to succeed at making Cleveland lead-safe. Cleveland’s children deserve nothing less. https://t.co/KfFlvm5k5V

There are a lot of folks in this town who have worked really hard, for a really long time to bring the FEWB to life. Today is building on the legacy of organizers from nearly 20 years ago who initially brought the idea of the FEWB to life. It’s truly a beautiful thing 🥹🥹🥹
Looking Forward to working with the newest members of the Fair Employment Wage Board. They will work hard to address poverty and advocate for working families.

Look at this charming family! So sweet, so cute!
Enjoyed meeting Alex Nosse, owner of Joy Machines Bike Shop in Cleveland. His tale of starting the shop from scratch, rooted in his neighborhood, is genuinely inspiring. Also, had the pleasure of meeting his charming family. Ruby Nosse, pictured with her dad, is adorable.

Two @CleCityCouncil members complained recently to @MayorBibb's administration about an ad for summer park jobs with $13-$14 an hour pay. Council passed legislation in 2023 that’s supposed to ensure temporary city workers are paid at least $15.33/hour. https://t.co/JF3Fs3stP9.
