It is with heavy heart that we have heard of the passing of Leighton James after battling with ill health. Leighton played and captained the club and was a respected umpire . Obviously many knew him as an outstanding footballer who represented his country with pride. RIP Leights.

We have finally received planning permission to build a bar area onto our changing room pavilion. This will create an area we can use 12 months of the year and help the club be self sufficient for many years to come. Great effort to those who’ve got us this far

Due to the lack of cricket we have decided to install electricity to our scorebox as well as getting a new water supply out to the square. Lots done today and hopefully the ground will be back and usable should we get some cricket later this summer

It is with sadness that we have been informed that former spin bowler and batsman Aubrey Davies has passed away last night. Aubrey was a real character and loved the game. His son Gareth played for us as well as a few other SWCA clubs. Thoughts go out to Gareth and the family.

12 years ago today our club lost one of its biggest characters and best player, Gerwyn ‘Lefty’ Evans. Lefty did everything in the club over the years and helped so many youngsters into the players they became and still are while taking the juniors. Never forgotten 🥃
