3/3 Bombay government in 1861 wanted to buy a plot on the far end of Malabar Point with no access & requested Toothi's wife Cooverbai to give access through her land. She gifted them her entire property, land on which today stands d #RajBhavan, #Bombay that houses the Governor

2/3 Sorabji Cawasji Thoothi on 12th October 1844 bought a hill called Angola Doongar at Malabar Hill in Bombay and built two bungalows. He died on 29th May 1858.
