I think the new style that's starting to reveal itself is nice, because it's a real blink-and-you'll-miss-it improvement. I'm hoping it all just comes together to ambiently improve the experience and allow you (and people who've yet to buy it) to take it more seriously.

I've been wanting to rework how CQ looks for ages. I think the style I went for was gimmicky and sorta ugly. sometimes in a charming way, sometimes in a way not even a mother could love. I hate to redo work, but I don't wanna be hitched to something I'm growing to dislike either.

The lack of interesting VR-exclusive mechanics that weren't hacking minigames was REALLY disappointing. After playing Population: ONE I really would have wanted some climbing mechanics. I'm sad I played Alyx instead of Boneworks/labs, as I was on a time limit b4 returning it.

I'm sure it was mind blowing in 2020 mid-COVID with nothing better to do than play it on your Valve Index, but in 2025 on a Quest 3 it was unbelievably boring which isn't what I'm looking for while wearing the Sweat and Nausea Helmet.
