At High Amp Maintenance in Mackay, checking out this laser cutter purchased with a Miles Government grant. Labor supports businesses, while dodgy Crisafulli is hiding the truth about his business which was trading when it was insolvent. Today I called on Crisafulli to come clean.

Only Labor will deliver water security for regional Queenslanders
Local producers finally have access to the thousands of megalitres of water flowing from Rookwood Weir. The surge will improve agricultural productivity, allowing some growers to employ hundreds of extra staff members. https://t.co/WbYeQT6rRW

These overseas built trains weren’t disability compliant. We’ve given them a big upgrade to make them accessible, and they’re all back in service just in time for 50 cent fares. We’re building the next generation of trains right here in Queensland so they’re fit for purpose.

Our Government has banned all carbon capture and storage in the Great Artesian Basin. The GAB is the lifeblood of outback Queensland and that is why the Miles Government is acting to protect it. We’re protecting this precious water source for good.

DESI have finished their assessment of the EIS and concluded the CTSCo project is not suitable to proceed due to potential groundwater impacts in the Great Artesian Basin. I’ve always said if projects don’t stack up environmentally or economically then I wouldn’t support them.

We’re taking $1,000 off every Queensland household’s energy bill. This means the average household won’t pay a cent on their next quarterly energy bill after 1 July. Cost of living relief for Queenslanders is our number one priority.
