I apologise to people that don't like misty pics as there may well be quite a few today/tomorrow (I took 135 photos😂), here is the first one taken as the sun came up this morning on Glastonbury Tor. A wave of mist moved across.

Sometimes I ask myself why I go up Glastonbury Tor every morning at sunrise even when I am really tired. Today was one of those mornings that just made it all worthwhile. What a wonderful sky it was.
It was bitterly cold today on Glastonbury Tor but what a sky! One of those mornings where it was nicer before the sun came up. It was very hazy though.
It seems I was the only one up on Glastonbury Tor in the rain and wind today. This sheep posed so perfectly for me though so all worth while. Portrait format so will need a click I think.
Incredible morning on Glastonbury Tor. I have still got to go through my photos but I already know this Brocken Spectre one came out better on my phone so here it is.
This was the view through the archway of St Michael's tower on Glastonbury Tor before the sun came up. The kind of view you want to walk towards ❤️Portrait format so will need a click.
Happy Winter Solstice to everyone. People gathered on Glastonbury Tor to welcome the return of the light and longer days. I didn't get many pictures up there as it was very very windy and the camera was moving all over the place 😂Here is one from just after sunrise today.
Well that was pure magic! I woke, looked out of the window and raced to the top of Glastonbury Tor. Not sure the photographs will convey the absolute beauty of the Somerset Levels shrouded in mist.
What started off as a disappointing grey day turned into something so special. Taken this morning in Glastonbury, one of my bucket list shots that I have never managed to get before. I don't want the word Photoshop mentioned on this post 😂
What an interesting day on here. Blown away by the support for todays image. Only equalled in support for these two images over the years. Very different. Which is your favourite?
Does this look cold? It was bitterly cold but breathtakingly stunning on Glastonbury Tor this morning. I hope this photo helps show the beauty of the scene below.
The most incredible sky this morning. Taken from Glastonbury Tor about 20 minutes after sunrise. Glastonbury is a very special place and today was a reminder of that.
I am now able to say that it was this image that was shortlisted in Landscape Photography of the Year competition. I just had the email to say I didn't make it through to the final round of judging 😢 but I am still pleased to have a shortlisted image. "Mists of Avalon"
It is Winter solstice tomorrow the 22nd December, return of the light. It is a bit breezy in Glastonbury today so let's hope it drops off a bit for tomorrow.
