(8/9) I think we can be better. Don’t outsource your courage or vision for a bright future to billionaires trying to escape to private islands, into low earth orbit, or to Mars. You can contribute to a future worth having.

(7/9) I also think it’s time to call out the “wellness” and “longevity” grifters in healthcare, and their enablers. There are net present problems we need to solve that impact real lives.

(6/9) I am also deeply concerned about #womenshealth, and the completely unacceptable standard we have created for #abortion, as well as #miscarriage. It lacks basic safety and empathy.

(5/9) Basic #patientprotections are fundamentally on the line in a matter of days. This is *mostly* an apolitical issue, as each party has candidates that are funded by #PBM money (Hi Gavin). This also impacts every community across the country.

(4/9) I believe we should be optimistic and aim for the world we seek to create rather than descend into bargaining and helplessness to accept the world as it is.

(3/9) I admire those who stand up for those who need help or are vulnerable to exploitation. It has to transcend virtue signalling.

(2/9) On Cowardice: My observations in my mid-40s—it seems to take numerous forms, some more pernicious than others. I’ve never had a problem speaking truth to power; it’s been career-limiting on occasion, but being honest to my core values mattered more at each stage.
