In weight lifting, you mainly rely on the dominance of your pinky, ring finger & middle finger as those are the strongest in holding heavy weight. Why would you not make the focal point in hitting the same in regards to holding the bat… 🤔

When coaches say “be short to the ball”… instead of thinking hand/barrel path needs to be changed… Change your brain to the timing window of contact points… This will change everything on how you perceive hitting when you see the results coming off the bat differently…

Timing is dictated by the movements you’re creating in the box. The better you move in the batters box more than likely your bat path is more clean to allow your margin of error for timing to have more adjustable moves.
