We didn't win, but I'm super proud of our VR Life Drawing App for being nominated in two categories in the 2024 @TheWebbyAwards ! Being in the top five alongside big players like @netflix @NASA and @aardman was a surreal experience! Congrats to all.

I finally picked up Gesture VR and spent some time with it. AMAZING tool. I wasn’t sure if I’d like it, I’m not really a traditional artist and never thought I’d enjoy this kind of drawing. But before I knew it, I’d spent 1 1/2 hours sketching models. HIGHLY recommended! 👍👍

We had to remove a large set of our models from the app to comply with an unexpected rights issue. We're working on replacing the models, but it will likely take a few months. Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to refund through meta if needed.

The UI for Gesture VR was designed using @QuillSmoothstep ! Designing VR UI directly in VR helped remove a lot of the guesswork. Quill meshes even make up many of the UI elements in the final product.
