I'm rather pleased with how the skybox for Pocket Lands turned out! Discworld vibes, anyone? Can't wait to plug all the values into a day/night cycle to go from epic hazy sunsets to clear day.

Did I just add Gorilla locomotion to Pocket Lands, with the ability to place and break blocks in immersed mode? Yes, yes I did. 🦍

The micro gestures don't have false positives with pinching, but they of course do with making a fist to grab the world to move it. So I gated it: when you tap your thumb, you turn micro gesture navigation on, and the hand changes color to indicate that you're in that mode.

Just implemented micro gestures in Pocket Lands for navigation, a pretty recent Quest feature. It makes a world of difference compared to having to drag the world around with big movements!

PS the white handles are in the way because the Quest is increasingly worse at giving a floor height. Big frustration currently!

I'm blown away by the response to this! After such a long time of developing in secret I just had to share something to make sure I'm not the only one who thinks this is fun. I'm delighted to see so many of you looking forward to seeing more of the project!

Figured I'd put the new passthrough camera API to good use!
You can now take reference photos directly inside Vermillion - and of course turn those into paint by numbers templates on the spot - using the all new Quest Passthrough Camera API. Hope to see some plein air sessions! #vr @MetaQuestVR
