I watched Anora with commentary from Sean Baker and cast (Mikey, Mark & the Scooby gang). As is the case with better commentaries, there were some great nuggets in there (Yura pitched *a lot* of pivotal bits), and they whole thing flew by. Mikey Madison has a delightful laugh.

Assuming this is actually true, fuck him. It absolutely won't happen, but it would be objectively funny for him to sit out a World Cup year. The kid has all the talent in the world but comes across as a colossal, airheaded prick. And it's a genuine shame.

It's better (though it couldn't be much worse), but with the addition of Sesko, and feck it, Baleba too, we're still a long way off 'comfortably' securing top 4, much less a title challenge. I implore fans to temper expectations for the season.
