I generally try to avoid political tweets but as a physician, I think its our duty to say that this is unforgivable. If we dont speak out on such a clear issue, who will?

yes we are post political. i am now comfortable telling my patients not just to vote but who i think they should vote for because it’s a health issue, not politics.

I tried to keep my account just for science. But I grew up in Germany. My upbringing included being taught that you have to speak out when injustice occurs. If you are silent you are complicit. What you say is another good reason.
