Over on @GeerlingEng, I got a 40+ year veteran radio engineer to review WSQK, the fictional radio station in @Stranger_Things season 5. Video here:

As always, huge thanks to first responders—and in this case, to the tower climbers who were busy doing their job, maintaining the KSDK tower. I don't think "saving a guy's life by restraining him for an hour 800' in the air" is in the job description, but he did it anyway
I would not want to be a tower climber (or paramedic, not sure if they'd go up) and have to deal with a potentially-intoxicated person climbing up a 1000+ ft tower. They've been repainting the KSDK-TV tower for a couple weeks, which is why guy probably could make it to base.

Just before heading off to #VCFMW, my Dad and I got the Apple II working! I just wanted to show his neat little workshop in a video, and we wound up plugging in the old recapped PSU, and... well, here's what happened:

46 years later, just in time for the end of #AprilApples, I gave my Dad his first computer—and Apple ][ he and his brother bought in 1979:

What would *you* build in a mini rack? My Dad and I are heading to NAB and will talk about our most recent mini rack builds at an Ennes workshop on Saturday! We've learned a lot, and are excited for the future of the mini lab—for radio, homelab, etc.

Delete! Delete! Delete! The FCC asked what regulations should be deleted from its books. Is it good for broadcast radio? Bad for hams? What would we delete? Today's video:
